This was the toolbox assignment for my sculpture class and it had to be related to you in a way that what you carry in it is part of yourself. My interest has to do sometimes with the classical Gothic genre of Hollywood and the vampire novels of Anne Rice and Bram Stoker; those two authors have a huge influence on me and it's always fun to play with that.
Made from MDF wood, on the outside is a fake leather fabric that worked real well though it was a pain at times and the handles are my favorite pieces. Oh yeah, and I like the cross I picked out, it was the only one that looked....classic. It's a coffin!!!  |
